Holiday messages and opening hours for nail salon clients
A good holiday message for nail clients is short and warm, and if your hours change it gives the last day you are open, the days you are closed and the day you reopen. Send the "book before the holiday" message one to two weeks ahead, and keep the greeting itself for the day, without a sales pitch.
Updated
When to send it
- One to two weeks before Christmas, Mother's Day or Valentine's, so clients can still find a free slot before the date.
- As soon as you know your holiday closing days, with the last open day and the reopening day.
- On the day itself for the greeting, at a normal hour, not at midnight.
- After the break, once, to say you are back and open for bookings.

Tips for writing it
- Keep the greeting and the promotion apart: a Christmas wish with a price list attached reads like an ad.
- Put your closing dates in the first line; that is the part clients need to remember.
- Post the same holiday hours on your Google profile and Instagram, so they match everywhere.
- Send greetings only to clients you have seen recently, one by one or as a WhatsApp status, not to every number you have.
In CutieCure Salon
Add your CutieCure Salon online booking link to the "book before the holiday" message: it shows clients only the times that are still free, so they can grab a slot before the break without messaging back and forth. Online bookings arrive as pending for you to confirm.
Questions
When should a nail salon announce holiday opening hours?
One to two weeks before, and again a few days before the last open day. Clients book their holiday nails early, so the earlier they know, the fewer disappointed messages you get.
Should a holiday greeting include an offer?
Usually not. Send the greeting on its own and put any booking push in a separate message before the holiday; a pure thank-you feels more personal.
Can I send the same holiday message to all my clients?
You can use the same text, but send it to clients you actually see, ideally one by one with their name. A mass message to old contacts can feel like spam.
